Take the cutting
Take a tip cutting by cutting the top of a branch with 3-4 leaves. Remove the lower leaves so that 1-2 grown leaves remain. Leaf cuttings are done by taking a leaf or a piece of a leaf. Then, follow the steps below if you are going to transport the cutting before planting it: Create a mini greenhouse with a plastic bottle or a bag. Cut off the top part of the bottle about 10 cm below the cap. Cut a potato, make a hole in the cut surface, and plant the cutting here. You can also wrap wet paper or cotton around the stem. Place the cutting in the bottle or bag, and spray with a spray bottle before closing the bag or putting the top on the bottle. Transport with care. Cuttings are sensitive to both heat and cold.
Plant the cutting
Place the cutting in a pot with seed soil. Increase humidity by placing a greenhouse bell, a cut plastic bottle, or a plastic bag over the pot. Make sure there are a couple of air holes.Place the cutting in a bright spot, without direct sunlight – it will get too hot in the mini-greenhouse.It can take anywhere from a week to several months for the cuttings to root. Try gently pulling on the cutting. If it's stuck, it has likely taken root, and you can start to uncover it a little and acclimate the plant to a drier climate. When the plant has grown enough and the roots reach the edge of the pot, it's time to transplant it with nutrient-rich potting soil in a larger pot.,See how the gardener takes cuttings in our gardening show:https://youtu.be/-GjJ3NTvGAE
